One of the first things that comes to mind when I think of summer treats are snow cone machines. Don’t you love these refreshing icy treats?
As a child, I always wanted a small snow cone machine of my own. Each year, I would beg for one from Santa Claus but that was always the one item he did not bring! If I come into some extra money, I think I will invest in one! Is that a crazy thing for me to purchase as an adult?
It’s been extremely warm and humid in our area. Another hot summer. We’ve been enjoying a variety of summer treats to help us cool off. At a recent event, The Boy and I enjoyed a lemon snow cone. It was tart and refreshing. I chose that flavor because it lacked dyes; I did not want The Boy’s shirt to be stained. As we were eating it, I realized that it was his first snow cone. What a fun memory! I feel badly that his first one was lemon! My favorite flavors of snow cones are mango, strawberry and peach.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a snow cone I didn’t like! 🙂 Anything fruity is so refreshing. Lemon actually sounds really good.
Was it a Snoopy snow cone machine that you wanted? Because I wanted one of those too. I always asked for it and my mom would never buy it for me, probably because she feared the syrup would get all over everything. 😉
