If you follow me on Instagram, you know that this winter on Cape Cod has been relentless. We’ve had accumulating snow every four to five days. I realize that it is winter, but this is getting old. It isn’t supposed to snow on Cape Cod. Snow belongs in the mountains, not here. When it snows here, salt and sand gets dragged into the house on the soles of your boots. Also coming along are the shells from our driveway. No matter what we do, we couldn’t keep up with it. And then, the Swiffer® Sweep & Trap came into our lives.

I know, children can be messy. I’m fortunate that my son is a neat eater; if only I could use this for his Legos!
I think this is a brilliant idea! I am always using my Swiffer & then going for a dustpan. To have it all in one place will make cleaning that much easier.
Yup. You are right. I want one! We have hardwood floors too. It is quite the challenge keeping them clean. I had to drag out the vac today. I wouldn’t mind using this for in between major cleaning.
Isn’t dragging the vacuum out the worst? I was doing it every day because of the shells, salt, and sand. Using this has allowed me to vacuum every other day instead – a big time saver!
My kids have been into “salt” paint – SOOOO MESSY! That and sand being put into glue/paint ala “mister maker” shows!
Yes please, I need one of these in a bad bad way! We have all wood floors, minus the kitchen and the bathroom, and no matter what I do and how I clean I just do not feel like I am getting my floors clean enough. (sigh).
My kitchen is wood too! Imagine how crazy I was going before this fabulous little beauty came into my life?! It’s so fantastic, I’m in love with it. I also like that The Boy can use it too – no batteries, no electricity! Perfect for him.

I sweep and vacuum every single day! I actually finally invested ina robot which makes it a lot easier to keep up with things.
You might want to give the Swiffer Sweep & Trap a go – it doesn’t use any batteries or electricity and does an amazing job!
I hate brooms.. I always feel like they don’t fully clean my floors. This looks like a great (and tidy) alternative!

Isn’t this a WPNDERFUL invention?! I love mine for the little debris that comes in. It’s also nice to use good old man power instead of batteries or electricity.

How often do I sweep my hardwood floors? Not nearly often enough. I have a cat and a giant furry dog. We often wind up with “tumbleweeds”. I need one of these in my life.
Sometimes I have tumbleweed a on my stairs! We have 2 vacuums, one upstairs and the other downstairs; it’s easy to overlook the stairs!
Thankfully, the Swiffer Sweep & Trap is just the right size for the stair treads!

I used to have the old Swifter until my little one broke it. This Swifter trap and go looks like a good alternative. I will check it out in Target.
We still have a swiffer here unsused because it was a gift from someone. I was able to use it in cleaning my Mom in law’s dining room as they have wooden floors. Very nice, cleans floors neat and easy to dry.
I absolutely love the swifter we currently own! I have not use this one as yet. I’m sure I’ll love it just the same.
I love Swiffer products. We have a dog and 2 cats so it seems like they are always tracking stuff everywhere!
I think Swiffer has really improved their products. When the first one came out, it was a cool concept, but I didn’t feel like it always worked that well, but this…this looks like it really gets the job done!
So it won’t pick up Legos? I was hoping i could get one for that purpose alone.
HA! Legos should come with a “picker upper tool” – sort of like that awesome orange “take apart tool”! The Swiffer Sweep and Trap is amazing…just keep the Legos out of the way!
