One of my favorite things about the holiday season is choosing the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on my list. As I get older, my list has gotten smaller and a bit more difficult. I’m thankful that I discovered the Walgreens Holiday Guide this year, as it’s packed with creative gifts for everyone on your list!
If you don’t typically think of Walgreens as a holiday shopping destination, think again! As I look through the holiday guide, I am {almost} wishing that my shopping list was longer! They’re conveniently located and have affordably priced items for everyone on your list. Before I tell you about all of the awesomeness that is included in their guide, I want to let you know that you can earn rewards while shopping if you are a member of their free balance rewards program. Go sign up now, I’ll wait!
I don’t know about you, but when I read a catalog for the first time, I like to go through each page and think about who might like each item I see. My first pass through of the Walgreens Holiday Guide, I knew that The Texan would love to discover these Lindt chocolates in his stocking!
And, The Boy has a new obsession with the “Ninjer Turtles” I think a few of these guys popping their heads out of his stocking on Christmas morning would be a great gift!
While looking through the catalog, I was thinking about putting a gift together for The Boy’s school principal. She’s a sweet woman who’s given a lot of guidance to me in terms of selecting a school and the appropriate program for The Boy so it is important to me that I show my appreciation to her this holiday season.
The first thing I saw was a relaxation fountain, it would look beautiful on the credenza in her office.
But, I won’t stop there. You can’t have a tranquil moment without a great cup of tea. Peppermint is refreshing, screams December and is a perfect choice to give to her. I’m going to grab a nice mug to go with it. {Tip: Try adding a peppermint tea bag to your coffee. You can thank me later.}
Would giving the Principal a fun body scrub be too weird? I love receiving body scrubs, but typically only receive them from my mom!
At my local Walgreens, they have an amazing selection of gift bags and wrap that will help me put the finishing touches on her gift. I love that while shopping for the people on my list, I can earn rewards through the Balance Rewards program, too!
It’s also worth mentioning that on the last page of the gift guide is an amazing selection of coupons – you can save $10 off the iHome Clock Radio, $3 off Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion, and $1 off Energizer Max Batteries just to name a few.
Whether you need a holiday gift for your school Principal, friends, or family members, you can count on Walgreens to have the gifts to help you quickly finish your holiday shopping.

The tea bag in coffee has me intrigued. Is that any flavor or just the peppermint? #client

Great question, Kelly! I’ve only tried it with a peppermint tea bag, but I would imagine that other flavors would work depending on your preferences. There are so many varieties of tea these days, the possibilities are endless. I like using the peppermint tea bag as you get the same yummy peppermint flavor without all the “funky stuff” in many coffee-shop peppermint coffee beverages.
