Happy Thursday, Friends!
I lost a day somewhere this week. Must be due to recovering from my third half marathon of the year. Now, I’m going to brag for a sec, so feel free to skip to the next paragraph if you don’t want to hear my awesome success story. So, last weekend, I bettered my time from the May race by nearly FIVE FULL MINUTES! Can you believe that? I finished in 2:07:28. I’m so pleased with my time. The first half marathon I ran at the end of February, my total time was 2:18:55. For you math geeks, that is 11:27 that I’ve shaved off my time in 8 months.
You can imagine after running such a long distance that I haven’t been doing too much this week. I’ve spent a lot of time kicking my feet up and enjoying the quiet, like I talked about in this post.
This week, I’ve been trying to replenish my energy. These Vanilla Chai Smoothies have been a favorite of mine!
