Whoo-hoo!
Have you ever been so excited about something that you want to shout it from the roof tops? I just had an ah-ha moment while sitting at my dining room table {err…desk}. I landed my dream job and didn’t even realize it!
You see, I used to think that climbing the corporate ladder was my dream. That you measured success by how fat your wallet was, the type of vehicle that you drove, and how many fancy vacations you took per calendar year.
It turns out that I don’t need a fat wallet, a luxurious car, or a fancy trip to measure my success. I am a lucky, lucky stay-at-home mom to an extremely happy, seemingly well-adjusted toddler who brings more joy to my day than any trip to the Caribbean could ever bring.
Don’t get me wrong, I do consider this blog to be a dream job. It provides additional income to my family and allows me to connect with amazing brands and individuals that I wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to meet. Sharing my life with y’all is a blast! Once The Boy is enrolled in school full-time, I am open to the possibility of working in social media on a consistent basis. Might be fun to go back to my old company as their Social Media Manager!
As I continue on my one little word journey this year, I expect to have more of these ah-ha moments.
Have you had an ah-ha moment lately?

I agree that working from home as a blogger is a wonderful job! It does have its cons, but what job doesn’t? I do think it would exciting to work in social media for a brand. Good luck with that!

Any job where you have control of your life is a great job! There is nothing worse than being tethered to a desk all day!

Honestly, my blog is my dream job too. Wouldn’t trade it for the world!

Sometimes when I think about my “old life” I miss it, but I wouldn’t trade what I am doing now for anything!
