Hurricane Irene scrapped my menu plan for Friday, Saturday and Sunday last week. Just when I was on a roll, too. This week, I’m not going to try to stick to a menu plan as The Texan is on vacation and we’ll be doing fun stuff – like the beach and the zoo – and still have some of our regular weekly commitments, too. Here’s some ideas of what I’d like to eat this week:
Monday: Grilled fish, corn on the cob and veggies
Tuesday: Tacos
Wednesday: Turkey Burgers
Thursday: Enchiladas
Friday: Chicken Caesar Salads
Saturday: Dinner out, take out, or leftovers
Sunday: Steamed Lobster
The one thing I know we’ll definitely enjoy this week are Steamed Lobsters over the weekend. Sadly, it is Labor Day weekend. Already. Our summer is nearly over and the days will be getting {even} shorter, the temperatures will be even cooler.

Steamed lobster – yum! Glad Irene is out of your neck of the woods.

Welcome to the world of WordPress! I hope you enjoy the switch! I switched about a year ago and really like it. I’m totally jealous that lobster is in the plans for the weekend! I can’t remember the last time I had fresh lobster. I live on the prairies so fresh seafood isn’t what I call fresh. Not compared to when I grew up on the west coast.

I am now following with GFC, networked blogs, and Pininterst. I tried following with twitter but couldn’t get your twitter profile to come up, even as a twitter follower. I looked for you as a twitter follower and couldn’t find you, I tried to follow from your blog and it didn’t work, and i tried to find you by searching for you on twitter. Sorry, that I couldn’t follow there, but maybe it will let me later.
